Explore different areas of public health with this new group of job postings!

Another week has come and gone, but we have LOTS of new jobs to propel you into the weekend!

This week, I heard lots of great advice about the job hunt for early-career professionals in these trying times. What stood out to me the most, however, revolved around the growth mindset. We have to be flexible. We have to be willing to explore.

I think we, as a field, have never bought into the idea that “a job’s a job”. We are invested in the idea of public health as a calling, that we are meant to help others with our talents and passions. And we should do that, but we also shouldn’t stand in our own way. Don’t just glance over different opportunities because they lack a certain ‘je ne sai quoi’. You never know what you might learn! After all, the likelihood that your first job is your “forever job” is slim. Treat each job like a stepping stone towards your ultimate goal, not the end-all be-all.
