April Showers Bring 43 Internship Opportunities!
Depending on what part of the country you’re in, the weather the last few days has been iffy at best. Chilly, rainy, both—what happened to spring? April showers bring May flowers, I suppose!
The timing of this makes me think of a beautiful George Eliot quote, “It will never rain roses: when we want to have more roses, we must plant more roses”. In other words, we are responsible for making things happen. Something precious won’t just fall into our laps—we have to work for it.
I like to think that, in the spirit of Eliot, from this newsletter and its many installments rain the seeds, not the roses. I’ve harvested the seeds for you—finding opportunities for you to nurture and grow, but you have to plant and nurture them. Easier said than done, of course—not everyone has a green thumb—but, in this case, those who are willing to put the work in often find something beautiful waiting for them.
