Digging up 40 internships--one might be your treasure!

The job hunt often takes hours and hours of scrolling through job boards to find opportunities that could be a good fit. It feels like a treasure hunt. Your passions, skills, and experiences are the map leading you to the gold, the internship. You might be mislead along the way—expired listings, confusing descriptions, misnamed positions—but you correct course and pursue the hunt for your hidden treasure.

Think of every pirate or adventure movie you’ve seen. The protagonist overcomes challenge after challenge to find what they’ve been looking for. The journey often looks nothing like imagined, and, often, it yields more than just the treasure they seek.

Take your job hunt, as frustrating as it can be, and turn it on its head. You are seeking your prize, exploring and learning along the way. You’ll make it to the end, you’ll find your treasure, but it may not be the journey you expect.
